Fear of the Future

Lord, I come before You with a trembling heart, overwhelmed by the uncertainties that tomorrow holds. You know every thought that races through my mind, every fear that grips my spirit. I struggle to see the path ahead, and the shadows of what might be loom large in my soul. Help me, Lord, to remember that You are already there, in the future I dread. You promise in Jeremiah 29:11 that You know the plans You have for me, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give me a future and a hope. I long to anchor myself in that promise.

In my weakness, I lay my fears at Your feet, asking for the peace that only You can provide. Teach me to trust in Your goodness, to believe that Your love is steadfast and unchanging. When the weight of my worries feels unbearable, remind me that I am not alone, that You are my refuge and strength.

Father, help me to release my grip on what I cannot control, and to place my future into Your hands. As I face the unknown, fill me with the assurance that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Guide me with Your light, and grant me the courage to walk boldly, knowing that You are with me every step of the way. Amen.
