Peace in the Chaos

O Lord, my heart is heavy with the weight of worry and fear. The waves of anxiety crash over me, and I find myself struggling to keep afloat. I come to You because I know You are the One who calms the storm. Just as Jesus stood in the boat and spoke peace over the waters, I ask You to speak peace into my heart. You said, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." So here I am, Lord, casting every fear, every anxious thought into Your hands.

I feel overwhelmed, Lord, like I am caught in a whirlwind of doubt and uncertainty. But I know You are my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Remind me of Your presence when I feel alone and afraid. Help me to trust that You are in control, even when everything around me feels chaotic.

When my mind races and my heart pounds, let Your Spirit whisper words of comfort and truth. Teach me to breathe in Your peace and exhale my worries, resting in the assurance that You are with me. Surround me with Your love that drives out all fear, and anchor my soul in Your unchanging promises. Amen.
