Armor Up

Lord, I come before You feeling the weight of the battles ahead. Fear and uncertainty try to take hold, but I cling to Your promise that You are my refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. Equip me, God, with Your full armor so that I may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.

Belt me with Your truth, that I may walk with integrity and clarity in this world of confusion. Guard my heart with Your righteousness, for it is only through Your purity that I can withstand temptation and stand tall. Prepare my feet with the readiness of the gospel of peace, so that I may move forward with confidence and calm, spreading Your love in every step.

Shield me with faith, O Lord, to extinguish all the flaming arrows of doubt and fear that the enemy launches my way. Protect my mind with the helmet of salvation, reminding me that I am Yours, saved by grace, and nothing can separate me from Your love.

Place in my hand the sword of the Spirit, Your living Word, sharper than any two-edged sword, able to cut through lies and darkness. As I step into the fray, remind me that I am not alone, for You, my God, go before me, behind me, and beside me. With courage and strength drawn from You, I face this day. Amen.
