Oh Lord, I'm struggling with feelings of hurt and resentment. You know the pain that has been inflicted upon me, and how it's been difficult to let go. I confess that my heart is heavy with bitterness, and I long for the release that comes from forgiveness. I remember Your words, "Forgive as the Lord forgave you," and I want to follow Your example, but it feels so hard.

Father, please help me to see beyond the hurt and into the heart of the person who has wronged me. I know that they, too, are human and fallible, just as I am. Remind me of the grace and mercy You have shown me countless times, even when I didn't deserve it. Your love has no limits, and I want my heart to reflect that same love.

I ask for the strength to forgive, not from my own ability, but from the abundance of Your Spirit within me. Heal my wounds, Lord, and replace my bitterness with peace. Help me to release this burden into Your hands, trusting that You are the ultimate healer and judge. Let Your love wash over me, renewing my spirit and freeing me from the chains of resentment.
