Healing for a Loved One

Oh Lord, I come to You with a heart heavy with concern for someone I hold dear. You know their suffering, their pain, and their struggles better than I ever could. In moments like these, I feel so helpless, but I know that You are not. You are the great Healer, the One who knit us together in our mother’s womb, and I trust in Your power to restore and renew.

Father, I ask for Your healing touch upon them. Reach into the depths of their being and bring comfort where there is pain, strength where there is weakness. Your word tells us that You heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. I cling to this promise, trusting that You will bring peace to their troubled body and mind.

I admit, Lord, that fear tries to creep in, and doubt whispers in my ear. But I choose to hold onto faith, believing that Your love casts out all fear. Guide the hands of those who are caring for them, and grant wisdom to those making decisions about their treatment.

Lord, wrap them in Your love and let them feel Your presence. Even when I can't be there, I know You are. Give us both the patience and strength to endure this season. I leave my worries at Your feet, trusting in Your perfect will. Amen.
