Prayer for Your Work

Lord, I come before You feeling overwhelmed by the burdens of my work. Mondays bring with them a weight I can't seem to shake, and I often feel lost in the chaos of my career. I ask for Your guidance and wisdom, for You know the plans You have for me, plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give me hope and a future. Help me to trust that You are leading me, even when I can't see the path clearly.

I long for purpose and direction, for clarity amidst the confusion. Show me how to use the talents You've given me for Your glory. Open doors that I cannot see and close those that lead me away from Your will. Fill my heart with a desire to do my work as if I am working for You, not for human masters. Give me the strength to face each day with courage and faith.

Lord, when I feel the dread creeping in, remind me that You are with me, that I am not alone. Help me to find joy in the small victories and to trust that You are working all things for my good. I place my career, my dreams, and my fears into Your hands, knowing that You are the ultimate provider and protector.

Thank You for being my guide and my rock. Amen.
