Joy in Small Things

Father, I come to You with a heart full of gratitude for the countless small mercies that fill my days. Sometimes I get so caught up in waiting for the big miracles that I overlook the gentle whispers of Your goodness in the everyday moments. Open my eyes to see the beauty in the simple things—a warm cup of coffee, a kind word from a friend, the laughter of a child. These are the blessings that remind me of Your constant love.

Lord, Your Word tells us that every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights. How often I forget that these gifts surround me daily, quietly waiting for my acknowledgment. Help me to recognize and cherish these moments, knowing they are evidence of Your unwavering care.

Teach me to find joy in the small things, to appreciate the morning sun on my face and the cool breeze that carries Your peace. Let my heart be tuned to sing Your praise for these daily mercies, for they are reflections of Your faithfulness. May my gratitude for these small joys draw me closer to You, deepening my trust and love for You each day. Thank You for filling my life with Your subtle but profound grace. Amen.
