Oh Lord, my heart is heavy and my soul aches with the weight of this loss. The chair that once held the laughter and warmth now sits empty, a silent reminder of the absence that fills every corner of my world. Father, You know the depth of my grief, and You promise that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Yet, I feel so alone in this silence.

I am struggling to find peace amidst the sorrow, Lord. The memories flood in, unbidden and overwhelming, and I don't know how to move forward without them. You are the God of all comfort, but in this moment, comfort feels distant. Help me to trust in Your presence, even when it feels hidden from my sight.

I bring to You my questions, my anger, my tears. Teach me to lean on You, to draw strength from Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake me. Let Your love be the balm that soothes this wounded heart. In this valley of the shadow of death, remind me that You are with me, guiding me through each day, one step at a time. Amen.
