Prayer for Your Marriage

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart that seeks Your guidance and strength in my marriage. I know that love is more than just a feeling, but a choice we make every day. Please help me to choose love, even in the moments when it feels hard. Remind me of the patience and grace You show me, so I may extend the same to my spouse.

Lord, I ask for the wisdom to understand and appreciate the gift of marriage. Teach me to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, just as Your word instructs in James 1:19. Help me to communicate with kindness and respect, even in disagreement. Let my words build up, rather than tear down, and let them be a reflection of Your love.

God, I pray for the strength to remain committed, to hold fast to the promises we made before You. When challenges arise, help us to turn towards each other rather than away. Show us how to lean on You together, seeking Your will above our own desires.

Father, protect our marriage from outside influences that may seek to divide us. Surround us with people who encourage and support our union, and keep our hearts focused on You as the foundation of our relationship.

May our love for each other be a testimony of Your love for us, growing deeper and stronger with each passing day. Amen.
