Lord, as the day fades into night, I come before You with a heart full of worries and plans that weigh me down. I confess that I often try to hold the reins too tightly, forgetting that You are the One who holds tomorrow. Your Word reminds me that I should not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own, and yet I find myself tangled in what-ifs and what-may-comes.

Help me, God, to release my grip and trust in Your sovereignty. You who formed the stars and named them, who knows the number of hairs on my head, surely You can manage the uncertainties that haunt me. I lay my plans at Your feet, knowing that Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts and Your ways higher than my ways.

Grant me the peace that surpasses all understanding, the peace that guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May I rest in the assurance that You are already in the future, working all things for my good and Your glory. As I close my eyes tonight, let me find comfort in Your promises and wake with renewed faith in Your everlasting care.
